Folkestone Harbour Arm set to host pop-up seaside food festivals every weekend this summer season

Fan favourites and bold new pop-ups headline as the Harbour Arm goes back to its roots with a rotating street food line-up from April to September 2026

From April to September 2026, the heart of the Harbour Arm, the historic structure stretching out into the English Channel, will be transformed into a constantly rotating community of independent street food traders and pop-up bars, bringing fresh energy, new flavours to a seafront that’s become Kent’s Foodie Destination of Choice.

The new pop-up season marks a return to the Harbour Arm’s roots. After several years of investment in permanent venues and creating large restaurant spaces, summer 2026 shifts the focus back to the small, start-up and independent food businesses that helped shape Folkestone Harbour Arm in its earliest days.

Visitors can expect a changing line-up of up to five pop-up traders each weekend and on Bank Holidays, plus extra weekday trading during the height of summer. Every visit will feel different, with exciting new concepts sitting alongside much-loved Harbour Arm favourites, including the return of Pork & Co, who will be back by popular demand.

Add to that the Harbour Arm’s established programme of live music every weekend, a packed calendar of events, unbeatable sea views and plenty of waterfront seating, and the result is a summer-long celebration of food and drink with a party atmosphere.

Paulo Kingston-Correia, General Manager at Folkestone Harbour & Seafront Development Company, says:
“2026 is about going back to what made the Harbour Arm special in the first place. A real sense of discovery, great independent food, and something new to stumble across every time you visit.

“From April to September, the heart of the Harbour Arm will be completely taken over by pop-up traders, creating a space that feels vibrant, ever-changing and full of energy. With returning favourites, brand-new businesses, live music and uninterrupted sea views, it will feel like a food festival every single weekend.”

Whether it’s a spontaneous afternoon bite, sunset drinks with friends or planning a whole day around food, music and the sea air, Folkestone Harbour Arm’s new pop-up space promises to be one of Kent’s must-visit destinations from April right through to September 2026.
