Margate has no shortage of places to eat with a sea view, but Pearly Cow is giving food lovers even more reasons to head to the coast this summer.
The restaurant, which overlooks Margate’s golden sands from No. 42 GuestHouse, has introduced two new weekly dining events that are ideal whether you’re planning a lazy Sunday or a midweek catch-up.
Sundays are now all about brunch. Expect the classics, from Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale to a proper Full English, alongside lighter options including smashed avocado, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and overnight oats. If you’re feeling hungrier, there’s also the No. 42 Burger or a towering pastrami stack served with fries.
Then, from Wednesday evening, the spotlight shifts to burgers cooked over coals in the restaurant’s open kitchen. Choose between a Longcroft & Old beef cheeseburger, Cajun buttermilk chicken or a Moving Mountains plant-based burger, all served with fries. Better still, selected cocktails are half price throughout Burger Night, making it an easy excuse for a spontaneous trip to the seaside after work.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed brunch overlooking the beach or a burger and cocktail with friends as the sun starts to set, Pearly Cow is adding another layer to Margate’s growing reputation as one of Kent’s best food destinations.
