Dinosaurs hiding beneath the autumn trees, mysterious tales on safari and family tickets with savings of more than 50% – Port Lympne has gone big for October.
If you’re looking for an excuse to pull on the wellies and get outside this autumn, Port Lympne Reserve has just launched its new Autumn Adventures.
And there’s quite a lot going on.
Throughout October, families can explore the Reserve’s 600 acres and meet more than 900 animals, before heading into Dinosaur Forest for a special trail of tricks, truths and hidden discoveries.
It should be particularly brilliant at this time of year. Beneath the autumn canopy are 91 life-size prehistoric creatures representing 62 species, with young explorers challenged to complete the trail and claim a special reward.
Then it’s onto the truck safari, which is getting an autumn makeover of its own.
As you travel through the Reserve, special seasonal commentary will delve into strange stories from the animal kingdom, separating wildlife fact from folklore and exploring some of the myths and mysteries that have surrounded animals for centuries.
There’ll also be seasonal daily talks and plenty of autumnal food and drink along the way.

Book online at least 24 hours before visiting and you can currently pick up a two-person bundle for £40 or a four-person bundle for £75, with savings of up to 53% compared with gate prices.
Standard online admission is £36 for adults and £29 for children, and admission includes the truck safari and Autumn Adventures activities.
And, somewhat unexpectedly, you could come home with a car.
