Valentine’s at The Corner House

The Corner House team has designed a menu with an emphasis on seasonal sharing dishes, available this Valentines Day in both Minster and Canterbury.

  • The Corner House sharing board for two (Homemade sausage rolls, proper pork scratchings, homemade terrine and chicken liver parfait)
  • Smoked haddock and Ashmore cheese croquette, creamed leeks, wholegrain mustard
  • Heritage beetroot, whipped goat’s cheese, linseed cracker (v)
  • Stour valley pigeon, blow torched breast, leg ragout, soft polenta, cauliflower
  • Split pea soup, ham hock, quail egg, chives
  • Chicken and chorizo terrine, BBQ mayo, fennel slaw, brioche
  • Cider cured salmon, mushrooms, kale, tarragon

  • Low and slow braised Romney Marsh lamb shoulder for two, dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal vegetables, lamb jus
  • Stour Valley duck for 2, roasted breast, confit of leg pithivier, celeriac, kale, duck sauce
  • Roasted chicken supreme, Jerusalem artichoke puree, lentils a la francaise
  • Filler of seabass, shrimp butter sauce, purple sprouting broccoli, mash
  • Ribeye steak (250g), sauce Diane, triple cooked chips
  • Monkfish tail wrapped in Parma ham, scampi, braised gem lettuce, warm tartare, triple cooked chips
  • Crispy parmesan polenta, braised chicory, cauliflower 3 ways, tomato and shallot dressing, crispy sage

  • Lemon posset, homemade oat biscuit
  • Great British cheeseboard, port jelly, walnut and raisin bread
  • Sticky date and banana sponge pudding, salted caramel, peanut butter ice cream
  • Vanilla panna cotta, rhubarb and orange, ginger crumble
  • Pear frangipane tart, tonka bean ice cream
  • Milk chocolate tart, marmalade ice cream
